On Sunday, March 16th, 2025, the Coverboard and Chessboard teams, along with our families, friends, and children, joined the tree planting initiative organized by "Oloi Mazi Boroume" ("Together We Can") in Glyfada. It was a day full of energy, optimism, and meaningful contribution to the environment, as we all came together to leave our positive mark on nature. With the message “Leaving Our Positive Mark,” we invited our entire team to join this beautiful effort, strengthening our environmental awareness and highlighting the importance of collaboration and collective action. We firmly believe that every small step can make a difference and contribute to a better future for all.
This initiative held special significance for us, as a company that primarily trades forest-based products. We feel a deep commitment to caring for the environment from which our products come. That is why, for many years, we have been committed to sourcing certified products from responsibly managed forests, proudly carrying the internationally recognised FSC® certification, ensuring that our wood-based products come from sustainable and responsible sources.
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us in this effort, leaving their positive mark alongside us by planting more than 30 new trees as part of the united COVERBOARD and Chessboard team.
